I don't know what a governess is so I looked it up and a governess is a woman employed as a private tutor. Governesses taught "the three R's" which are Reading, WRiting and ARithmetic.

Here we can see the Red Queen surround by four woodland creatures. The Red Queen has a fiery temperament but she is also a devoted wife and monarch and a friend to the duchess. The Queen loves to play games, especially croquet, and she loves flamingos.
